Film Production
Film production in Cabo Delgado is not very utilized.
The movies seen are from abroad mostly Nigeria, Tanzania and India.
To give the possibility to see movies in the major languages of Northern Mozambique like Emakhuwa, which is undestood by more than 4.000.000 people, and where the movies reflect the reality of Northern Mozambique, we decided to begin working a bit with film production.
To this moment in time we have made:
- A small movie of the play "Vestígios de Pegadas" (Sign of Steps) about a couple moving to the bush.
- A small training course in how to make video recordings by Max de Rocha
The film production will also include documentaries on cultural events and cultural expressions. In this way the Cultural Centre "Tambo" will become a centre on documentation of culture and art.
